If we determine that your lack of mobility is the source of your pain, we will use mobilization to effectively trace, isolate and mobilize restrictions found within your soft tissues, joints, nerves, viscera and vascular structures. We believe that optimum mobility requires all tissues of the body to move efficiently so that you can perform your activities of daily living.
Muscle pain can come from different sources, not just from a lack of mobility. In order to reduce or eliminate muscle pain, it is important to focus on restoring efficient mobility and your body’s ability to use the right muscles with appropriate strength and endurance.
It is possible to do a hundred sit-ups, but if your deep core muscles are not firing, then the sit-ups won’t be as effective. Be aware that these integral muscles need to be directly facilitated in specific functional patterns.
By doing this, it gives the large “mover” muscles in your body more strength and coordination.
