Benefits

Pre & Post therapy

These devices are designed to help you exercise your pelvic floor muscles around your clitoris, urethra, perineal body, and anus. They can also help to activate weak muscle fibers and relax and release muscle tightness in specific areas. Using one of these devices can help improve your overall pelvic floor health.

There are a few key points to remember when pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation:

  • It’s important to avoid the Valsalva maneuver and straining when you’re pregnant. Breath holding can also be dangerous. Instead, focus on breathing slowly and evenly.
  • When you’re exerting yourself, remember to exhale. And when you’re holding a PFM contraction, try to keep your breathing as normal as possible. We know it can be tough, but just keep doing your best. You’re doing great!
  • Squeeze correct PF muscles.
  • Inhibit action of accessory muscles, e.g. hip adductors, abs, gluteus, etc.
  • Modify intensity, frequency, and duration of squeeze.
  • Empower the correct breathing pattern.
  • Cryotherapy can be a great way to relieve pain and discomfort. Simply fill a condom with frozen peas and tie it off. It should fit comfortably between your labia. If you need more support, you can use socks as well.

I had been dealing with chronic neck pain for 6 years before I decided to visit Dr. K.K. Kant. I'm so glad I did because he not only cured me within 15 days, but he was also an amazing doctor and human being throughout the entire process. His dry needling and cupping therapy were extremely effective and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking treatment for similar issues.
