Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a holistic approach to detecting, treating and preventing health problems. It focuses on the complete wellbeing of an individual by moving, stretching and massaging their muscles and joints.
Osteopathy is based on the principle that the wellbeing of an individual depends on their bones, muscles, ligaments and connective tissue functioning smoothly together. It is a gentle and effective way to relieve pain in soft tissues and improve joint mobility.

Recovery

  • Improved body function, flexibility, and mobility.
  • A more restful, deeper sleeping pattern not interrupted by pain.
  • An increase in your energy levels to help you function more adequately with home, work and leisure activities.
  • A reduction in stress levels and muscle tension.
  • A positive effect on your mood, memory and mental health.
  • A general improvement to your overall health and sense of wellness.

Post therapy reaction

  • Depending on your condition, I may prescribe the use of a heat pack, cold pack, some stretching, exercises, rest or over-the-counter analgesic and anti-inflammatory medications to support the treatment. I have a lot of experience with this and I want to help you get better.
  • The advice you have been given can help you recover faster. However, it is important
to follow the advice carefully and consult your doctor if you have any questions.
  • Achy or uncomfortable sensation that can occur after treatment.
  • You may feel a bit sore and achy after your treatment, but this feeling should ease within a couple of days. This occurs because your body is adjusting to the changes that were made through treatment.
  • It’s important to take some time to rest after you’ve been through treatment. Your body is working hard to heal and needs time and energy to do so. The more you tax your body with a lot of activity, the less available energy and resources your body will have to dedicate to healing.
  • Ice the affected areas to reduce localised inflammation.
  • Never apply heat unless directed by your osteopath.
  • Stress can really do a number on your body, slowing down the process of healing and making it more likely for pain receptors in your brain to be triggered. It’s important to try to manage stress in order to maintain your health and well-being.
  • Do the exercises on daily basis
  • Nutrition is important for our cells to repair damaged tissues. However, due to modern farming techniques, many of us are not getting the essential minerals and vitamins we need from our diet.

I had been dealing with chronic neck pain for 6 years before I decided to visit Dr. K.K. Kant. I'm so glad I did because he not only cured me within 15 days, but he was also an amazing doctor and human being throughout the entire process. His dry needling and cupping therapy were extremely effective and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking treatment for similar issues.

I found the best physiotherapist in Dr Kant sir. I had severe back pain since 2011 and a friend told me about this clinic and the doctor. The result was unbelievable in just one week. The dry needling and cupping therapy he does is magic. I strongly recommend him if you have pain anywhere in your body.
